Well, i won’t take up too much of your time as we’re all watching the Masters. But, we we’re unlucky with Benheir, the mistake down the back cost him the half a length needed to win the race. Recent effort regardless. Declaration of War however was so straight forward his SP of 6/4 was insulting. We all knew he’d win, and the drift was laughable (8/13 out to 6/4, wow).
Authoritarian – 15:50 Windsor – 6-1 Ladbrokes –
Today, i am only doing one horse. For me, this is the best bet of the day. The prices are already collapsing on this Hannon fillie (from 7-1 into 11/2 in places, 24 hours before the race).
This horse was a bit of a cliff horse for me last year, but after several placed efforts he finally came good and notched up back to back wins, including a C&D win. There are quite a few horses in this race who have been showing form, especially Boots and Spurs who almost caused a 20-1 shock last time out when being worn down late by Educate in a Doncaster class 2 handicap. Authoritarian will relish the ground, and Richard Hughes will get her in the firing line early and we hope she’ll go for home and hold on. I wouldn’t go huge on this horse (mainly because shes let me down before) – But its probably the best valued horse of the day, and it will be my only bet of the day.
