Let me get one thing clear now, I firmly believe Michael Van Gerwen can get his own back on the 10-7 defeat to Taylor at the UK open. Prior to that quarter final defeat, MVG had won the last 6 PDC tournaments, beating Taylor in the process. With no Raymond Van Barneveld in the lineup in Gibraltar, the top 2 shouldn’t really play each other until the final, and should they both make the final, MVG will be around 4/6 and Taylor 11/10, so if you like MVG or Taylor, get on sooner rather than later.
I cannot see why a one game blip will halt his impressive run of victories. He’s 9/4 with Victor Chandler to claim victory on the Rock of Gibraltar.
