The night was a success for both Wales and England as both teams won away from home. It was not surprising that England crushed St Marino as the St Marino team is made up of part time football players. The game was a complete goal fest, with England scoring nearly every 10 minutes of the game to end up on eight goals to St Marino’s zero goal count. Well St Marino did score the first England goal! Fare play to the St Marino team they did not give up, they kept on playing and some times played a little to hard as a few hard tackles went in to the England players. England only went 17 minuted in the game without scoring a goal which was quite remarkable for England but not a surprise as they where playing a team that has allot less quality players.
Wales did very well and after going one nil down come back to get a win with two goals to Scotland’s one goal. It was not a good night for us as we had a massive bet running on the correct score results of both the England game and the Scotland and Wales game. The Betcirca team had Wales to win correct score at 1-2 and England to win correct score at 0-9. The odds on this bet was 220/1 at bet365 and we had staked £10. Yes we missed out by one goal…but there will be a next time when England play Montenegro on Tuesday 26th March 2013.
